Dr. Jitender Munjal was born in New Delhi, India. He obtained his medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi India. His residences in internal medicine were at Maulana Azad Medical College and at Jewish Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio. He completed his training with fellowships at the University of Cincinnati in Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant, Cardiovascular Diseases, Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. Dr. Munjal stayed as a faculty member at University of Cincinnati for five years and was Director of Electrophysiology at West Chester Hospital, a part of UC Health. He was voted Top Doctor in Cincinnati by his peers.
Dr. Munjal has over five years’ experience in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, with special interest in complex cardiac ablations including Atrial Fibrillation, Ventricular Tachycardia, device implants and laser lead extractions. Dr. Munjal is a fellow of the Heart Rhythm society, board-certified in Electrophysiology, Cardiovascular Diseases, Heart Failure and Cardiac transplant.
Dr. Munjal is a football and cricket fan. He enjoys running half marathons, music and movies in his free time.
