“Cardiology is a very exciting and dynamic field. Everyday, there is an opportunity to treat incredibly sick and unstable patients and impact their lives in very meaningful ways which is quite rewarding. I enjoy being able to provide this opportunity and at the same time, being able to follow these same patients, as well as those less ill who have chronic conditions. Our field is unique in that we have the ability to help patients using our hands and physical skills, and at other times, help patients by using our knowledge of medical therapy. I find this balance to be very gratifying.”
